Adding Pictures, why such a mystery?

So, this is my second entry and I am still triing to figure out this whole blogging thing. More specifically how one adds a picture! I keep clicking on the "add image" icon and nothing happens! Can any of you seasoned bloggers give me any insight as how to do this?

    Okay, I just posted something using one of my Blogger blogs with the basics. If nothing happens at all, it might be that you need to check your settings for adding images.

    I kind of learned this stuff on my own, so my knowledge is very sketchy; up to a point, I know a fair bit, but I'm very dependent on help FAQs and websites that specialize in walking you through lessons on HTML and stylesheets...

    Thank you, I will check it out. I just figured it out. Actually, I remembered my 13 year old son told me "It's the browser, Dad!", so yes it was the settings on browers blocking the mini-menu or window from opening. And, as my son also told me "just hold the control button down while clicking the icon and all will work ok". Damn, I hate it when he's right!
